Collaborating for Change
Local governments are the land managers of the world, shaping the places where people and nature coexist every day.

A place for learning & connection
Located in Katoomba, the Blue Mountains Planetary Health Centre is an innovative hub of action, demonstrating creative ways to regenerate natural systems, improve human and environmental health and build resilient communities, through on-site and digital programs.
The Centre facilitates collaborative action with community, local government, First Nations, businesses, organisations, universities, and other institutions and sectors. The Centre also demonstrates solutions for resilience and positive change, with systems in place including circular water and bushfire preparedness.
| The Blueprint
Since 2023 we have documented local stories of action, resilience and positivity, featuring individuals, groups, businesses, organisations, artists and educators that are creating change from the ground up.
We have now brought together all the content from six local news websites covering the entire Blue Mountains region, alongside curated content from similar global sources into The Blueprint, bringing stories of action and inspiration to a global audience.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the Greater Blue Mountains area and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging as we live, work and play on Dharug and Gundungurra Country (Ngurra)
