Health & Comfort in Your Future Home – Designing with high-performance building and lighting in mind
Planning a new home and want to get it right from the start? This immersive, in-person workshop brings together high-performance building design and thoughtful lighting to show how early decisions can shape comfort, health and energy use for decades to come.
Led by Passive House designer Karina Rafailov of Earthy Haus and Blue Mountains–based lighting designer Vladi Rosolova, the session demystifies how homes really work through clear explanations and a relatable case study.
Participants will leave with practical knowledge, sharper questions to ask, and the confidence to create a home that feels good to live in, day and night.
How to Use Your Sewing Machine Workshop
Join Sherlie McMillan for a one-off session on how to use a sewing machine.
In this class, you will:
Learn how to set up a machine
Service the machine, i.e. oil, and adjust for correct tension
Learn to troubleshoot when the machine isn’t sewing correctly
Learn some basic sewing skills, to make life easier when sewing your projects.

Classes run from 9:00-10:00am each week with Virginia Field, an experienced trainer of Tai Chi/Qigong, who has more than 30 years experience.
