Sherlie McMillan is a professional pattern maker and teacher and will be sharing her skills to help community members learn how to upcycle textiles.

If you’re interested in upcycling fashion for yourself, or to explore a new income stream, this workshop will provide you with the skills and support you need to get started.

The workshop will provide hands on experience in:

- Setting up, adjusting and using a sewing machine

- Handling fabrics

- Garment fitting and alterations

- Pattern Development

- Garment Construction

- and a range of other skills!

Sewing machines will be made available, but if you have one, please bring your own machine.
